报告简介

Founded in 1865, the Gleason Corporation has over 160 years of R&D history in gear technology and continues to be the place where world-renowned scientists reside, enabling significant progress for the gear technologies. Gleason scientists such as Dr. Ernst Wildhaber, inventor of hypoid gears used in automotive axles, in large part shaped the automotive drivetrain systems. Hypoid gears and spiral bevel gears have been wildly used in various transmission systems. With the development of new energy transmissions such as drivetrains of electric vehicles, and novel aircraft transmissions as well, the performance requirements for gear transmissions are becoming much higher. High performance gears are represented by larger gear ratios, lower noise, higher efficiency, and higher anti-scuffing capability of tooth surfaces. This presentation introduces Gleason’s total gear solutions which go above and beyond to address the high-bar requirements from today’s new energy gear transmissions.
